CMNSG has adopted the AusTrak Australian N scale modular system. Many members' modules form part of their home layouts, and can be joined to with each other and with the Group's modules to form larger layouts for exhibitions.

The forever changing modular exhibition layout is made up of individual members' and a collection of group modules.

The 42 page AusTrak manual contains all the necessary information to construct a basic AusTrak module and is available at a cost of $4.00. They can be purchased from the CMNSG display table at exhibitions.
